Granular Activated Carbon

Descriptions

With its physical adsorption, chemical adsorption and oxidation catalytic properties, granular activated carbon is widely used in gas phase applications such as air purification, gas refining, adsorption, and recovery of various organic solvents, inorganic and organic sulfides, hydrocarbons, organic mercury compounds and other harmful components. In terms of liquid phase applications, granular activated carbon removes odor-producing substances and organic matter from water, often be used in drinking water purification, industrial wastewater treatment, brewing, decolorization, deodorization, desiccant and other fields. Granular activated carbon can also be used as catalysts and their carriers for a wide range of applications in catalysis and electrochemistry.

ACC uses different materials and processes to manufacture granular activated carbon to form different internal pore structures, making each product unique in its adsorption capacity to meet the needs of various applications. ACC granular activated carbon has large specific surface area, well-developed pore structure, and advantages such as high mechanical strength, acid and alkali resistance, and stable properties. It is ideal for removing a wide range of contaminants from liquids and gases.
